Buffer rollers are installed beneath the loading section of the conveyor, reducing the impact on the conveyor belt and thereby extending its service life. The rated load of the buffer roller is the same as that of a standard roller; however, the primary function of the buffer roller is to absorb shock. These rollers are specifically designed to mitigate the impact of materials falling onto the conveyor belt at the loading point. In cases where heavy or bulky materials are being transported, buffer rollers may even be strategically placed along the entire length of the conveyor system. What’s more, buffer rollers boast exceptional toughness—more than 10 times that of ordinary metals—along with excellent corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, anti-static properties, and an ultra-lightweight design. As a result, they are widely used in industries such as mining and material handling.
