Buffer idlers: Installed beneath the material-receiving section, these idlers absorb the impact of conveyed materials via structures such as spring plates and buffer rings, thereby protecting the conveyor belt. They also boast excellent corrosion resistance, with a lifespan up to five times longer than that of standard idlers.
Classified by Function
Carrying idlers: Support the conveyor belt and materials, categorized into trough-shaped idlers (designed to increase carrying capacity and prevent material spillage) and parallel idlers (suitable for the return strand or empty sections).
Buffer idlers: Installed beneath the material-receiving section, they absorb the impact of conveyed materials through structures such as spring plates and buffer rings, thereby protecting the conveyor belt. They boast excellent corrosion resistance and can last up to five times longer than conventional idlers.
Tension Rollers: These automatically correct conveyor belt misalignment through friction or a conical design, available in standard and friction-reversible types, ensuring the belt runs centered.
Classified by Material
Ceramic idlers: Made from alumina or silicon carbide ceramics, these offer high hardness and excellent wear resistance, making them ideal for highly abrasive environments such as coal mines and power plant coal handling systems. Their self-cleaning properties help minimize coal adhesion, preventing misalignment.
Rubber-idler rollers: Featuring a rubber-coated surface, they offer excellent elasticity and strong shock absorption, making them ideal for both the feeding and discharging sections—helping to reduce noise and vibration.
Nylon idler rollers: lightweight and corrosion-resistant, suitable for light-load or corrosive environments.
Polymer material rollers: Their mechanical properties are similar to bronze, offering excellent wear resistance and self-lubricating capabilities, while gently handling the belt without causing damage. They also feature low rotational inertia and minimal friction.
